Verano Countrystay is all yours for the entire duration of your stay, think of it as a home away from home. Check in time is from 2pm on the day of your arrival and checkout time is 10am. Outside parking is available for two vehicles . Come and go as you please, you won't disturb us, and we won't disturb you but are available if you need assistance or need to know something.
There are three bedrooms in the house. Bookings are based on one bedroom for one or two guests, two bedrooms for three or four guests and three bedrooms for five guests; just scroll on down to check them out. There is a shared bathroom with shower facilities and a seperate toilet and, as the maximum occupancy of the house is only five persons, you should be able to work out who gets to the shower first in the morning.
A fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ are here to keep the the cook in your party happy, or if you want to escape the kitchen, there are plenty of dining out options in the local towns. The indoor and outdoor dining tables seat six and we provide continental breakfast provisions for the first morning of your stay. Supermarkets and the Hastings Farmers Market are only ten minutes drive away. Cooking & Dining
Sit back and relax at the end of the day in the comfortable lounge, chat, read a book from our library, browse the internet or watch TV. The lounge has an enclosed woodburning fire so if you are staying with us in winter you can keep the house toasty and warm. In summer our local climate allows you to stay outside until well after dark.
OK, so nobody likes doing it, especially the dishes. In the kitchen you will find a dual dishdrawer dishwasher to take some of the pain out of doing the dishes and, if you get your clothes dirty then, the laundry has a washing machine and drier. We will show you where we have deviously hidden the ironing board when you get here!
We provide all the linen, towels and toiletries for the period of your stay; and, of course, the usual amenities of tea and coffee are included as well. If you like spring water then just turn on the tap as all of our water is drawn from the aquifer under the property. Remember to fill up your drink bottle before you leave.
Northerly facing and overlooking the courtyard and paddocks beyond, the 15 square metre Camelia room sleeps one or two in a Queen size bed and has bedside cabinet, a set of drawers and built in double wardrobe
Southerly facing and overlooking the garden and paddocks. This 12 1/2 square metre bedroom sleeps one or two in a Queen size bed and has bedside cabinets, a set of drawers and hangers for clothes.
Northerly facing beside the Camelia Room, this 10 square metre bedroom sleeps one in an eighteenth century French Officer's travelling bed. This room has drawers and a built in single wardrobe.
